CPM has for its objective the training how to plant local churches in areas which have no evangelical witness. It has already established local churches in the heart of Metro Manila. Efforts are being done to establish Christian churches in key cities in Metro Manila and its environs.

· Mobile Evangelistic and Discipleship Ministry (MEDM)

EL has conducted direct evangelism in relation with Church Planting Ministry program.

This ministry has been designed for young believers to undergo spiritual deepening. Discipleship can be taught in the form of seminars, conferences and camps. EL has come up with programs designed to enhance the growth of believers “until Christ is formed in you” (Gal. 4:19).

To date, EL has already conducted discipleship seminars in Laguna, Tagaytay City and Baguio City. The young people are now serving the Lord in different capacities.

· Evangelical Discernment (Cult-Watch) Ministry (EDM)

Asia – especially the Philippines--is awash with false teachings and false cults. It is against this background that this cult-awareness ministry has been conceived to warn churches of the crippling effects of these pernicious cultic teachings.

Cult-Watch ministry has two-fold approach: 1) Apologetics – to defend the truth; 2) Polemics – to attack error. This has been done through seminars, teaching clinics, conferences, and through the printed page.

EL Ministries International has conducted cult-awareness seminars in Baguio City in cooperation with Truth in Action (Action International Ministries).
 

SOCIAL

EL-MI is a ministry with a human face. It has a social dimension.

· Child Sponsorship Ministry (CSM)

This program is borne out of the truth that the little children are the apple of God’s eye. God loves and cares for the little ones.

EL-MI has launched this program designed to minister to the street children who live in squatter areas in Manila. The components of this program are as follows: 1) minister to malnourished children in Metro manila 2) educational program: envisions to meet the literacy needs of out-of-school children, and; 3) spiritual program: endeavors to meet the spiritual needs of children. After all “the kingdom of God belongs to them” so says the Lord Jesus Christ.

At this writing, EL-MI is sponsoring at least 100 children each receiving a cash allowance and milk every month. This project has been going on for three years. Applicants numbering more than fifty (50) are put on hold depending upon availability of resources.

Efforts are being done to reach the children and their families for the Gospel.

· Christian Basketball Association (CBA)

The Philippines is a basketball-craze country. Young people all over the country love to play basketball. EL uses basketball as the venue of reaching young people who otherwise cannot be reached by direct evangelistic church-related programs.

EL has established regional CBA outreaches in Quezon City, Cavite, Baguio City.  Four (4) Muslim youth have joined the CBA basketball league in Quezon City.

Evangelism in CBA is more than the usual “play-pray-proclaim” type of witnessing. It is not a one-shot deal. Evangelism has been done in series of sessions and in different settings and occasions through basketball camps and other strategies.

In the same breath, we are using this sport development for the spiritual deepening of our Christian young people in our local churches. Further, to give social dimension to this ministry, we will conduct seminars on crime- and drug-watch, on social issues, on nation building, and on sports and officiating clinics.
 

MORAL /INTELLECTUAL

· Christian Development Ministry (CDM)

CDM is designed to develop professionalism in the ministry, and enhance leadership capabilities and provide depth-quality and relevant training for “lay” people. CDM goes places to fulfill ministry needs in the country. It is a sort of “mobile theological school” reaching to those who have no formal Bible or seminary training.

We have been conducting planning and dynamanagement seminars in Baguio City.
 

PHYSICAL

· Christian Feeding Center (CFC)

Generally speaking, Filipino children especially those living in the squatter areas are malnourished. They desperately need food to keep their body and soul together. EL-MI seeks to humanize the Christian faith and ministry to give justice and fulfillment of the well-being of little children.

EL Ministries International is seeking sponsors for needy children.

· Medical and Dental Ministry (MDM)

Another component of the physical of EL is its Medical and Dental concern. This program caters to all members of the family both to the believers and the unbelievers.

The program has an evangelistic and discipleship content.

On April 30,2001 a medical ministry was launched in Sta. Cruz, Manila. About 200 patients availed of the free consultation, free medicine and free medical services.
